"Gallows Pole" aka "Hang Man." Here's an example of my "songwriting" --- I used this traditional song theme as a foundation for my composition. Although the lyrics are based on versions collected in the early 20th Century, I've created a brand new song out of it: new melody, chords, rhythm, and patterns.
